Birch Bay Ranch's annual concert and silent auction fundraiser took place Sunday, May 3rd. The event went off without a hitch, and everyone had lots of fun!

In previous years, we've held the event off-site, and just had a concert and a silent auction where we served coffee and BBR's famous cinnamon buns. While that was always fun, we wanted to provide a bigger and better event for those who participated this year! We decided to host it here at the Ranch, and add an amazing banquet dinner plus an exciting live auction to the concert and silent auction!

After arriving and taking a spin through the silent auction area, everyone gathered in the gym to hear Darryl Fraess & Cross Country play. Darryl and his band sounded great!

After the concert was over, the bidding wars in the silent auction really began as everyone rushed to make sure theirs was the top bid before dinner.

Dinner was a delicious roast beef banquet with all the trimmings: four different salads, steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy! Plus the best dessert buffet you've ever seen, with treats like black forest cake, cheesecake cupcakes, blueberry pie, lemon squares, jam cookies and more.

After dinner wrapped up and the silent auction closed, we had a fun live auction with a real auctioneer. This was a first for our event, and we thought it went very well! There were some really special items in the live auction, and it was amazing to see the bidding wars take place.

We would like to thank everyone who supported Birch Bay Ranch through this event. Whether you attended the event, donated items for the auction, volunteered to help out, bid on auction items or gave another kind of donation, we deeply appreciate every one of you! Birch Bay Ranch is a registered charity and nonprofit association, and we rely so heavily on donations and volunteerism to operate -- we couldn't do this without you!
