Horseback Riding Lessons
Register for Riding Lessons. Full information about how we are following approved guidelines are available from our office (firstname.lastname@example.org) and will be sent prior to the first lesson to all participants.
Birch Bay Ranch offers horseback riding lessons for Beginner and Experienced Beginner riders. If you or your child loves riding horses and if you are interested in taking beginner riding lessons, check out the options below and contact the office for more information. Online registration is open!
Lessons will be taught by CHA certified coaches.
- Basic Beginner - Little to no riding experience
- Beginner - Has control of steering and stopping at a walk, has done some trotting/jogging
- Experienced Beginner - Has a fair amount of riding experience, looking to improve the basics
Registration is open!
Helmets are provided, but participants must come with appropriate riding footwear. Classes must have a minimum of 4 participants to run. Maximum of 6 riders per class. If classes are not filled, Birch Bay Ranch may combine class offerings. Non-refundable unless cancelled 30 days or more before first lesson.
One set of Riding Lessons will have 1 unmounted lesson and 5 mounted lessons.

May 4 - June 15, 2021: 6 one hour lessons (Except Lead line)

Friday Limited Space Available
Private and semi-private lessons are booked individually. Each lesson is 30 minutes long. Private lessons cost $65.00+GST per person per lesson. Semi-private lessons cost $45.00+GST per person per lesson. Semi-private lessons have a maximum 4 riders per lesson.
*All participants should be 30 minutes early for every lesson to tack their horse*
Under 8 years old, adult, or more experienced? Please contact the office. Lessons will pause for the summer (July and August) and will resume in September.
