Summer Camp 2020 - as of June 2020

We have not yet made our decision about whether we will be running day camps or overnight camps for the Summer of 2021. At this time, we are planning to have summer programming available in some capacity. As soon as we know more about the possible restrictions for the summer, we will make our summer programming decisions known.

Safety is our number one concern at Birch Bay Ranch and this includes the health and well-being of our campers, guests and staff. We will continue to ensure that our procedures comply with advice from our local and provincial health authorities.

 

SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS

At this time overnight summer camp is still prohibited by AHS in Alberta. As a result, Birch Bay Ranch will be running day camps for the 2020 season. This will apply to all July and August camps, even if the restrictions for overnight camp are lifted later in the season.

What will Day Camp look like?
We will be diligent in following the government guidelines for day camps including cleaning, sanitation, and distancing.

Day Camp will run Monday to Friday, beginning at 8am each day (with breakfast at 9am) and ending at 8pm.

The price will remain the same as overnight camp and will include breakfast, lunch and supper as well as afternoon tuck (snack) daily. Also, each camper will receive a camp t-shirt.

Details regarding exact drop off and pick up times will be sent to the campers on the Tuesday prior to their week of camp.

 

If you were already registered in camp, an email dated June 12 was sent to the email you used to register your camper. This gave the option to:

1-Confirm your registration
2-Cancel your week of camp and request a refund
3-Cancel your week of camp and donate all or a portion of fees to BBR
